Maternushaus Hotel - Cologne

I had a great stay! The breakfast was fantastic, with an excellent range of breads and unlimited coffee, which made my mornings brighter. The atmosphere was calming, perfect after a long day exploring Cologne, though I found the air conditioning quite noisy at night. I'd definitely choose this spot again!

Thoroughly enjoyed that the hotel was stylish and had competent and accommodating staff at the reception desk. Stayed in a twin/double room room, it was silent with tea/coffee as well as plugs for chargers. Exceptionally nice and ideal location, the property was walk from a main station😃❤

The breakfast offered a wonderful selection, from fresh pastries to healthy options. It catered to everyone's tastes. My room was comfortable with a cozy ambiance. I also appreciated the lovely city view.

I encountered a recurring issue with the room door. An alarm alarmingly went off multiple times during the night, which disrupted my sleep. It felt frustrating as I had hoped for uninterrupted rest after long days of exploring the city. I found the religious literature in the room quite uncomfortable, which wasn't mentioned in previous reviews.

Oh, where to begin? The traffic noise was unbearable, and the room was filthy-dust and hair everywhere! I was also shocked that no complimentary tea was provided, despite the ridiculously overpriced stay. I almost thought about giving a good review, but i couldn't endure it.

Located within easy walking distance to the city center and main attractions, it was perfect for exploring. I wished the room had a fridge for some extra convenience.
